Beacon Hospital provides high emphasis on innovative and minimally invasive cancer therapy (i.e. a more effective treatment technique compared to open surgery due to presence of minimal post-treatment wounds which reduce painful experience):

Radiotherapy treatment of cancers using the Varian Halcyon 2.0 technology and the Varian TrueBeam. Varian Halcyon 2.0 technology allows radiotherapy to be performed within 1.4 minutes only (the fastest in the world) and this can greatly reduce any side effects on your body. Beacon Hospital became the first hospital in Southeast Asia to use the Varian Halcyon 2.0 for the treatment of all types of cancer. Varian TrueBeam can meet the radiosurgery requirements of the brain and spine without any open surgery to treat cancer.

Offers radionuclide therapy (first in South East Asia) especially for patients with advanced stage prostate cancer & neuroendocrine cancer. This radionuclide therapy works with radionuclide injections into your body that will radioactively target cancer cells in order to kill them and block their growth while at the same time reduce damage to normal cells. Prior to this treatment, Ga-68 PET-CT scan and several blood tests have to be performed to identify patient's suitability.
