Usage of the SOMATOM Definition Flash CT scanner to detect heart abnormalities, risk of stroke and cancer. It is one of the most accurate and fastest scanners in the world with the ability to identify structures smaller than a grain of sand and can scan the whole heart in just 0.28 seconds. In addition, it has the lowest radiation exposure in the world for coronary angiography procedures that do not require open surgery.

Usage of hybrid operating theaters for cardiovascular surgery equipped with advanced medical scanners such as CT scanners, MRI scanners and fixed C-Arms. These sophisticated equipment allow minimally invasive surgery to take place in order to reduce patient trauma and minimize open surgery by performing surgical procedures through one or more small cuts only.
